Prologue (Little Shop of Horrors), is the first song in the 1986 Little Shop of Horrors film and musical.

It is sung by Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon. As can be assumed it opens the story and quickly discusses the story. The opening number gives us a feel for the show, introducing the idea of something spooky coming our way.
The 1986 film adapatation of the musical features a new verse, used to extend the sequence for the film's opening credits. (The soundtrack release also features alternate, more ominous narration by Bill Mitchell, instead of the more comical narration by Stan Jones used in the film itself.) This verse was not included on the cast recording of the 2019 off-Broadweay revival, though it was included on the cast recording for the 2003 Broadway production. Though officially not a part of the libretto available for licensing through Music Theatre International, the verse is frequently added to productions.
